My day at work!

I went to work with mom this morning. I kept looking at her with that "Don't leave me" guilty look (gets me what I want every time!) and she put on my collar and led me into the car. Mom, me, and Dad left the house at the same time. It was great fun watching dad ride his scooter behind us. I was wagging my tail and smiling! I experienced my first parking garage and elevator. I tried to hold onto the floor, but it didn't stop the floor from moving. The people at the senior center welcomed me with open arms....no one said I was ugly or mean...I gave love to every one! I was VERY well behaved -- I kept with mom and didn't try to jump at anyone....not even once!!! After mom's first class was over we went to meet dad for lunch at Crane River. We ate our lunch outside....the waitress even brought me a bowl of water!! (now I really am spoiled!). Once lunch was over I had to once again ride the elevator from the first to the second floor of the senior center. This time I wasn't afraid. I walked inside and looked out the window at all the people getting smaller and smaller. Mom's second class loved me -- I was allowed to wander around the room while mom taught....I didn't go far from mom though and she didn't have to correct me once all day. (amazing!!)

My friend Kane!

Mom and Dad are fostering a dog for a few weeks - he's nearly 7 months old (just a baby compared to me!) and is a husky/sheppard mix. The two of us have great fun together! I am a good host -- I share my bed, toys, bones, and even parents with him. He thanks me by playing with me and being nice to me. I wish mom and dad would keep him -- I love having someone to play with all the time. Mom and dad say that our house is too small to keep two dogs our size comfortable in. I don't think we're very big -- together we're only 100 pounds! You never know what the future holds...maybe I can convince them...
